MAUPITI is a small island with little more than 1200 inhabitants. There are just a few grocery stores, a Medical Center, Post Office, a restaurant and several snackbars.
Life is simple, which is part of the charm that operates. It is easy to walk or cycle the 9 kms around the island.

During your stay, you can snorkel to explore the lagoon (palms, mask and tuba provided), paddle by kayak (also provided) on the transparent waters above sandy bottoms, observe the whales (from July to November), or...if it's your preference...do nothing!
